SquareSpeedBoostStatusEffect.pngStamina is a hero stat used for sprinting, dodging, and performing special melee attacks. It is shown as the blue bar on the right side of the bottom center of the HUD.

All heroes have 100 base stamina, but some heroes have an upgrade that gives them an additional 25%. There are also upgrades that some heroes have available that lower the stamina cost of dodges or special melee attacks

Sprint Cap

Heroes cannot move at faster than +30% of base sprint speed while sprinting. However, it is possible for heroes to move faster than this while using skills, or while walking if enough increased move speed is applied by buffs.

Regeneration

Heroes regenerate stamina after not using any skills, jumping, or dodging, or consuming stamina for an interval of time - Time.png1s if the hero has nonzero stamina, or Time.png2s if the hero has zero stamina. After the waiting interval the hero will immediately get their first tick of +20 stamina regen, with subsequent ticks of +20 stamina occurring every second.

Using any skill, jumping, using a launchpad, or consuming stamina will interrupt stamina regeneration and reset the waiting interval. Taking damage does not interrupt stamina regen, and neither does being affected by any status effects.

Note that if you have non-zero stamina you can use any stamina action, even if you have less than the cost. For example you can dodge with 1 stamina, or jump + jump attack in combat with 15 stamina. However, you cannot jump + jump attack in combat with only 5 stamina, as the jump will put you to zero stamina first, leaving you unable to perform the jump attack.
