Playstyle
HK-206 is a slow, tanky long-range shooter that excels at dealing single-target damage from fortified positions.
- HK has higher armor than most other heroes along with shields and damage reduction available through upgrades, making him very good at trading damage with opponents.
- HK's fortify skill locks him in place, so using it carelessly can lead to a death, however in the right position he can be very hard to kill.
Great aim and mastering where and when to fortify are both highly rewarded when playing HK-206.

Fires a rail gun, damaging the first enemy hit.
- Hitscan.
There is a visual bug when killing an enemy that makes it seem like rail gun can pierce and damage a second enemy - it will even leave a glowing orange mark behind when hitting a wall. Testing confirms that this is only a visual bug, and a second target cannot be damaged.

Notes
- While unfortified, hitting enemies with LMB at melee distance requires you to line up HK's right gun with the enemy, which is offset a great distance from his main body.
- Fortify is great at mitigating damage, and allows HK to trade damage with enemies super efficiently.
- Make sure to regenerate your stamina to full before fortifying in order to be able to make a quick escape.
- Try to fortify in places where the enemy has to attack you head on, and can't attack from your side or rear easily.
- HK's focus can miss targets that are moving too quickly, so try to use it against targets that can't get away or hide behind cover.
- Being hit by cc while unfortifying can cause a desync, where it will play the unfortify animation but you will still be fortified.
- Against teams with heavy cc, especially with Wu, you must play much more patiently and wait for deadly engages to be used before fortifying.
