Playstyle
Roland is a short range shooter with decent utility and high single target damage.
- Roland often plays right outside of melee range, dishing out tons of damage to the front-most enemy hero.
- His shotgun deals a ton of damage up close, making him great at fighting against melee heroes.
- His drone summon does consistent damage and doesn't need much player control.
- Grappling to terrain and enemies is one of the most unique movement skills in the game, and it is a lot of fun.
- His focus does great damage, a ton of knockback, and can let him ignore powerful cc effects.
Tight positioning, solid aim, and good decision making are what makes Roland a menace to his opponents.
Skills
Fires a shotgun blast of 20 shots that spread outward in a cone.
- Projectile, 1.33s per blast,

Shoots a spinning projectile that is affected by gravity.
- Bounces horizontally off walls.
- If no enemy is hit, upon landing arms as a trap in a
1m radius for
45s.
- Maximum 3 armed traps at a time. Oldest trap is triggered if a 4th trap is created.
Slows, -20% move speed for 4s.
This skill has the same damage and effects for both the projectile hit and the trap hit.

Directs Attack Drone to attack a target.
- If Attack Drone is not summoned, it will be summoned next to Roland.
- Cooldown begins when Attack Drone is killed.

Fire a grappling hook that pulls on impact.
- Cannot hit allies, instead passes through.
- Can be cancelled with dodge or focus.
- On hitting an enemy with the grapple or with Roland's body as he is pulled to the grapple target, deals damage and
cancels enemy action (
interrupts).
- When grappling to terrain, attempts to give Roland extra height at end of grapple.
- This allows Roland to climb on top of terrain by grappling to the outer edge.
- On miss,
15s2s cooldown.
If cancelled before the grapple reaches the end of its range, the grapple will continue travelling, and can still hit and deal damage, but does not pull Roland. Cooldown will still be based on whether or not the projectile hits even if cancelled.

Notes
- While Roland does like to play close for optimal damage, he is fairly squishy and has to be careful not to take too much aggro at once.
- When trying to hit shots at long range, it is better to aim diagonally offset from your target, as the spread from shotgun blast will be more pronounced at longer ranges.
- Before you summon your drone, make sure that you will want it out until it dies.
- It can refresh your combat timer and interrupt your regeneration if you stay in range of enemies.
- Don't grapple into a fight while outnumbered - Roland won't be able to escape and will die fairly quickly.
- Aggressive grapples should be used on isolated targets that you can finish quickly.
- Use the charge up of Roland's focus to ignore enemy cc during a dangerous engage, and your blast will be able to turn the tables.
